It is a square building with a circular
courtyard. The redoubt was built in the years 1743-1746 on one of the river
islands. Its task was to protect the western borders of Nysa and to strengthen
the defence of water facilities. Originally, it was surrounded by a moat, but
due to wetlands it was washed out. In the Redoubt, a portal with Classicist
ornaments has been preserved.
