St. Dominic Church

The church was built between 1784-1788 by order of the Dominicans. The order’s monastery is adjacent to the temple. The construction was initiated by Bishop of Wrocław, Philipp Gotthard von Schaffgotsch. The temple was built in the Baroque style.Inside, polychrome from the 17th century has been preserved. The altar, pulpit and statues of the Patron Saint and of St. Catherine are in the Rococo style. The plafonds were renovated in 1930. The church was devastated during World War II and its reconstruction took place in the middle of the 20th century.
