Nysa Lake is a retention reservoir established in 1971 on the Nysa Kłodzka River. For it to be built, it was necessary to demolish and flood the villages of Brzezina Polska, Miedniki, Różanka and parts of the village of Głębinów, as well as the surrounding forests. Currently, the lake is inhabited by numerous species of birds, including rare specimens of migratory birds, which rest here. The waters of the lake are inhabited by many species of fish, which makes it very attractive for anglers. The AKWA MARINA center with a very attractive offer of summer recreation is located by the lake. The last renovations of the summer houses were carried out in 2020 and 2021. In 2022, 40 modern holiday homes were built. The beach with a view of the Opawskie Mountains is located in the very center of the complex. It is an ideal place not only for relaxation, but also for organizing family meetings. For the youngest there are, among others, playground and funfair. Guests who like competition are invited to play boxer, table tennis and beach volleyball. For those who like water sports, we have launched a water equipment rental, where we can find, among others sup boards, pedal boats with a slide, and even catamarans and houseboots. The biggest event bringing together thousands of participants at the lake is the Fire and Water Festival, which has been organized for over 10 years. A spectacular fireworks display on the lake's surface and concerts are the main attractions of the festival.
